About BCC

British Community Club is the offspring of our umbrella company Lionbridge Project and is based centrally in the UK.  Building on over 20 years of education experience from its founders, our concept is to facilitate discussion and friendship through a commmon goal.  In our little sphere, this is the interest in British culture.  Whether you are a history buff, sports fan, music enthusiast, tea lover or purely curious about everyday British life, we have created a place for you to be welcomed and enjoy discussing the subject you have a real interest in.  

Since 2024, we have been holding continuous online seminars, discussing all variety of topics, with the aim of expressing our thoughts and opinions with each other as well as learning new facts, phrases and funny stories.  Our unique product is not an English lesson.  It's a discussion based hub led, but not controlled, by an experienced facilitator, allowing for the participants to present their ideas and freely exchange thoughts and ask questions.

Beyond the seminars, we offer opportunities to participate in free online experience sessions and also make it possible for in-person meetings in Japan, the UK and possibly other locations around the world!  Our proud history is helping us build a community for the future!

British Community Club（BCC）は、親会社である Lionbridge Project から生まれたコミュニティで、イギリスの中心部を拠点としています。

創設者たちが20年以上にわたって培ってきた経験をもとに、私たちは「共通の目的」を通じて、人々が語り合い、友情を育む場を提供することを目指しています。BCCにとって、その共通の目的とは、イギリス文化への興味や関心です。

歴史好きな方、スポーツファン、音楽好きな方、紅茶好きな方、あるいはイギリスの日常生活に純粋に興味がある方まで、どなたでも大歓迎です。自分が本当に興味を持っているテーマについて、気軽に語り合い、楽しみながら交流できる場所を作りました。

2024年から、私たちは継続的にオンラインセミナーを開催し、さまざまなテーマについて話し合ってきました。お互いの考えや意見を伝え合うだけでなく、新しい知識や表現、思わず笑ってしまうようなエピソードを共有しながら、一緒に学ぶことを大切にしています。

BCCが提供するのは、一般的な英語レッスンではありません。

経験豊富なファシリテーターが進行役を務めながらも、参加者の発言や考えを制限することなく、それぞれが自由にアイデアを発表し、意見を交換し、疑問を気軽に質問できる「対話を中心としたコミュニティ」です。

また、オンラインセミナーに加え、無料のオンライン体験セッションに参加できる機会もご用意しています。さらに、日本やイギリスをはじめ、将来的には世界のさまざまな場所で、参加者同士が実際に会って交流できる機会も広げていきたいと考えています。

これまでの歩みを大切にしながら、これからのコミュニティを皆さんと一緒に築いていく。それが私たちの誇りであり、目標です！
